7 Awesomely Easy Ways to Make Extra Money for Christmas
Hey, hey, I get it! Christmas is 3 months away, but it’s never too early to start thinking of easy ways to make extra money for Christmas this next holiday season, right! It sure would make things easier on the pocketbook! Here are seven great, simple ways to get on the ball and spend cash only next year!
1. Start doing surveys online.
This is number one on my ways to make extra money because I truly believe in it and it’s fairly simple, not labor intensive and you need zero supplies to get started. There are some really great survey companies that you can make some real bucks with, and you get a real life opportunity to make a difference giving your opinion and helping to develop new products and improve current merchandise.
Most survey companies offer surveys that take 15 minutes or less, and you can earn anywhere from $3 t0 $20 per survey. On the low end, if you do four surveys a month for 12 months, you’ll earn an additional $144 to spend on Christmas.

2. Sell Unused gift cards.
There are several sites that will pay you money for unused gift cards. This is PERFECT if you received gift cards for Christmas from aunt Betty that you’ll never use.
My favorite gift card reseller is Raise.com. Head on over to the super popular gift card resellerto set up an account and read the short list of directions to become a reseller. When you sell your gift card or store credit, get your money via Direct Deposit, PayPal or check. Nice!
3.Make Money Blogging.
You can get a hosting package for as low as $3.39 per month (see the details HERE), so it’s pretty cheap to start a blog. Blogging has allowed me to share savings tips with my readers as well as save my readers hundreds of dollars on Christmas shopping and more! But you don’t have to write about that in particular – you can even blog about your dog if you want, and still make money. It’s fun, flexible, creative, and opens up a whole new world of money-making opportunities.
4. Sell on Amazon.
I wrote a whole post on how to use the Seller Central Amazon program to make money and I still stand by it. You can sell your services, your products and much, much more to make money on things you never use or no longer need.

Talk about easy money! Inbox Dollars will give you $5 just for signing up! You’ll thencontinue earning more money by reading emails, taking surveys, trying new products, watching videos, referring friends, and more. Each Inbox offer has a dollar amount (or reward) stated right up front, maximizing the time you have to earn.
Completing5-10 surveys and watch a few videos per week andreading emails regularly, you should be able to earn about $25 per month, or $300 per year. Once your account reaches $30 though you’ll be able to cash out for a check or a Visa cash card.
6. Sell your old clothes.
Sites like ThredUp allow you to receive money or credit for your clothing. So, instead of spending your real money on clothes, use your clothing credits on that, and save your money for Christmas and special occasions!

7. Do some mystery shopping.
This was one of my favorite ways to earn extra money ( I LOVED it!)
Check out the MSPA’s website (Mystery Shopper Provider’s Association) which acts as sort of a BBB for mystery shopping. The MSPA has a list of legitimate mystery shopping companies here that require no money out of pocket to shop.
When I mystery shopped frequently I loved Bestmark and A Closer Look.
