Airbnb Finger Lakes: The BEST places to Book for an Amazing Stay | 2023 (1)

Sharing an Airbnb Finger Lakes round-up today!

Named after the 11 roughly digit-shaped lakes that punctuate this part of New York state, the Finger Lakes region is a cool place to be.

Go in summer and enjoy everything waterside living has to offer (no brainer). Go in fall for colors or enjoy a greeting card-worthy snowscape in the holiday season. It’s a beautiful place to be.

Way out west from NYC, you could book hotels to enjoy this area, but that way you won’t get to properly experience the nature on offer here.

Waking up with a view of the lake is best done in any one of the charming vacation rentals that you can find on Airbnb. Of course.

But it can be tricky sifting through all of that—so, lucky for you, I’ve chosen a few of my all-time favorite Five Lakes Airbnbs to get your vacay started the right way!

Airbnb Finger Lakes Edition: Where to Book for an Amazing Stay

Ok, so I am totally into this amazing Airbnb. It's a super charming spot right on Seneca Lake—the perfect place to spend a night or two relaxing away from the city.

The house is decked out in a neutral color palette that suits the waterside feel of the area. Think whitewashed walls, rustic meets modern decor, and plenty of natural wood.

Up to 4 guests // 1 bedrooms // 3 beds // 1 baths. Prices from $150 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

Omg guys. This place. I am so into the design of this one. It's a beautiful home filled with a host of mid-century modern furnishings and beautiful details that make it a simply gorgeous place to stay.

It's spacious, bright, airy, stylish, and has a beautiful outdoor deck with awesome views of the lake. All of that and it's situated pretty much on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail as a bonus. Yes, please!

Up to 6 guests // 2 bedrooms // 3 beds // 1 baths. Prices from $269 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

If you want somewhere to stay on a Finger Lakes vacation but you don't want something lakeside, this gem of a property will definitely suit you. Located in Penn Yan and surrounded by lush trees, with Seneca Falls within easy walking distance, it's an ideal spot.

Complete with a spacious garden, workout room, huge deck with seating area, and an uber homey feel inside, it's the sort of place you could spend the holiday season. Perfect for families.

Up to 6 guests // 3 bedrooms // 4 beds // 1 baths. Prices from $289 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

This is another of my favorite Finger Lakes vacation properties. As soon as you see this place from the outside, with its charmingly unique exteriors, you'll be totally in love.

Situated close to Cayuga Lake and complete with its very own dock, canoe, and boat dock, this is definitely the spot for anybody who wants to explore this area from the water. This Airbnb also features some pretty stylish interiors (I'm a fan).

Up to 6 guests // 3 bedrooms // 5 beds // 1.5 baths. Prices from $351 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

With plenty of room for a group of friends or a family, this top Airbnb in Watkins Glen is yet another dreamy way to really soak up the Finger Lakes Area.

One of the best lakeside cabins I've seen, the view from here is pretty stunning. You can soak it all up from the outside deck on warm days, and see it from a huge window in the living room, which makes it look like an actual painting!

Up to 8 guests // 3 bedrooms // 6 beds // 2 baths. Prices from $286 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

Did you ever consider spending your vacay in Finger Lakes in a former church? No? Well, how about now? This church is definitely one of the craziest rentals I've come across, and it makes for a super unique way to experience this beautiful area.

It may be a little spooky for some, sure, but if you like your accommodation totally unique, then this is the one for you.

With interiors that, well, look like the interiors of a church, there are modern touches throughout this renovated, repurposed building to make it feel both spacious and homey at the same time. There's even a bath for relaxing on chilly indoors-type days.

Up to 8 guests // 4 bedrooms // 5 beds // 3 baths. Prices from $549 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

Ok, this one's mine! How cute is this place? Looking like something right out of the Shire, this charming Five Lakes Airbnb is all about mixing original features with hip, updated details.

I'm talking exposed brick and whitewashed brick interiors, eclectic furniture, neutral linens, and stylish touches throughout. Throw in an outdoor pool and panoramic views of the lake, and the price seems even more worth it than it already did.

Up to 4 guests // 2 bedrooms // 3 beds // 1 baths. Prices from $549 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

This is yet another one of the historic options that make staying in the Five Lakes region an awesome prospect. This time around, think 1875 schoolhouse!

It's a pretty cool property, with everything you'll ever need for a blissful vacay. The kitchen is fully equipped, and even comes complete with complimentary organic teas—there's even coffee straight from Seneca Sunrise Coffee to sample!

This place is set on a hill and feels peaceful and secluded. Needless to say, the views from up here are nothing short of breathtaking.

Up to 4 guests // 2 bedrooms // 2 beds // 1 baths. Prices from $185 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

That’s it for my Airbnb Finger Lakes round up! There are some pretty awesome Airbnbs in the Finger Lakes region. Take your pick from the cute cabins, historic homes, to even old churches.
