Among other things, a cryptocurrency needs to have, in order to qualify for inclusion in the index, sufficient market value, liquidity, security and reliable data feed from exchanges. In order to best approximate the influx of new funds into the category, the constituents are uncapped and unaltered.
Strategy is calculated with categorization from coinmarketcap.com and daily closing prices and circulating supply from coingecko.com. Strategy excludes stablecoins and wrapped / liquid staking tokens.
