The Detective Lounge is the hub where the player can access all group and club activities. The Detective Lounge can be accesses from the Orchid Island screen by tapping on the green chair symbol in the bottom right corner.
Activites[]
There are four different activities within the Detective Lounge, that can be reached via the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
- The Communication or Message section, which is the Detective Lounge's initial starting page
- The Café, with the Tip Shop
- The Club Competitions
- The Detective League
Communication and Message section[]
The Communication section may look and work slightly different for players who are part of a Club and players who are not (yet). When the player is not in a Club then the player will receive messages not about Club activities and members. Instead the player gets messages about the group of players who are on the same Boat and leaderboard.
There are update messages informing the player about their group or Club members, the Café and Club Competitions. Specifically, there are messages when:
- the Club's meeting time has started,
- other Club members take part in a Club Competition,
- other group/ Club members complete a seasonal set,
- other Club members write a chat message to the Club,
- other Club members join or leave the Club or receive a different status,
- a given drink in the Café has expired and how many players drank from it.
There are two more things that can be accessed from the Communication Section:
- The Chat Function in the bottom right corner, available to players who are members of a Club.
- The Club Search in the bottom left corner. This is where a player can find a Club to join.
At the top of the Club Search screen, there is a search bar on the left side to search for Club names. If the player is in a Club already, there will be the Club Symbol and name at the top right.
The Club Search Screen provides a list of somewhat random Clubs that usually have open spots. The first column of the list shows the Club's name and 'coat of arms'. The second column shows the number of members and if it is open or requires an application. The last column shows the meeting time.
