What are neutral colours?
In fashion, neutral colours are considered to be those that lack any or have a small amount of colour. Those are black, white, grey, beige, brown and navy. All of these colours, except black, have different shades. White can be pure white, ecru, ivory, icy white. Grey can be light and dark, with a tint of blue, pink, or yellow.
So the palette of neutral colours is wide enough to make a very interesting wardrobe.

Colour Palette
For today’s wardrobe, I’ll choose all kinds of neutral colours and their different shades. This will add more texture and variety to a wardrobe, and at the same time look very soft and balanced. I added one colour that is not neutral: light peach. I couldn’t resist it. I find these colour combinations stunning.
Mix different textures
To add more personality I’ve decided to play with textures. As you can see, I have outfits with matt textures, a mix of matt and gloss, and even some knitted textured patterns. The bags have different textures as well and are both vegan. This one is made out of leaves leather. I love this texture, it’s so unusual and fascinating. And the other bag has interesting handles made out of robes that I think fits here very well and supports the casual vibe of the outfits.
Mixing different textures is something you can also try with your neutral or monochrome outfits.
Play with patterns
This capsule is made in a minimalist style but still has some delicate patterns that also help to add a variety of looks.
So, by just playing with different shades of neutral colours, textures and patterns I’ve managed to create a wardrobe that is elegant, interesting and versatile. A wardrobe you can add to if you wish. Colour is powerful, you don’t even need a lot of it. Even if you only wear neutral colours you can still make your outfits look unique and therefore expand your wardrobe possibilities.
