In this post, I will review my experience with Monumetric, a full-service ad network that pays monthly income.

What is Monumetric?
Monumetric is an advertising network that helps online publishers monetize their websites through display ads.
In short, they pay you monthly to put display ads on your website.
In the company’s own words,
“Monumetric is your full-service ad revenue partner, helping you reach your revenue goals while preserving the best user experience for your site. Our premium demand, innovative ad technologies, and dedicated monetization and data teams make profitable publishing possible.”
Founded in 2012, the company set out to provide Bloggers with an ad-solution that favoured the website owner.
Monthly Payments: How Do You Get Paid Monthly From Monumetric?
Fortunately, Monumetric has made it easier than ever for publishers to get paid.
Once you have applied and are approved to participate, you will gain access to a dashboard to check detailed income reports.
Then, if you are in Canada, payments are sent directly to your PayPal account monthly. Payments are issued within the first 10 days of each month. If you reside in the U.S., you have the ability to connect a bank account.
Keep in mind, the payment timeframe is net-60 days. In other words, money earned in September is paid two months later.
Once the payments start coming in, though, you can receive income every month.
In my case, Monumetric has become the second income stream to go along with the monthly dividend income updates.
How Much Income Can You Make With Monumetric Display Ads?
Based on my experience, a blog that receives 10,000 page views per month will earn anywhere from $50 to $100 per month.
Personally, I earned $51.17 in May 2021 from Monumetric display ads.

I should also mention that my Monumetric income has been increasing every single month for the last 6 months in a row.
So, the earning potential is a lot higher than what I am currently earning.
Requirements To Work With Monumetric
Since Monumetric is a premium ad network, there are a few requirements to work with them.
Furthermore, they offer four different programs for different levels of publishers: Propel, Ascend, Stratos, and Apollo.
To even begin to work with Monumetric and be accepted into the Propel program, your blog or website must meet the following conditions:
- Minimum of 10k to 80k page views per month
- Must be a WordPress of Blogger site
- Sidebar must be 300PX wide
- Implement 6 Ad Slots on both desk top and mobile
- Site must be approved by major ad providers (ie: Google Adsense)
- Minimum 50% Traffic from U.S., UK, Canada, and AUS
- $99 one-time implementation fee
If you meet these requirements, you may want to consider applying for Monumetric to add another income stream.
If your blog or website receives far less traffic than this, Google Adsense is the perfect alternative until you grow your traffic.
Otherwise, if your blog or website easily surpasses these requirements, I would encourage you to check out some of their higher level programs.
The Process To Apply and Install Ads
To apply, visit Monumetric’s website and complete an application.
You will need to provide your name, e-mail, website’s name, and estimated page views.
Eventually, if you meet the minimum requirements, they will contact you to provide more information.
You will need to provide screenshots of your website’s traffic and provide access to your Analytics data to prove you meet the minimum requirements.
After you apply, you will need to wait a few weeks before being contacted for further instruction.
If you are approved, Monumetric’s helpful advertising team will temporarily access your site to install the ads.
Of course, they will discuss the placement and advertising strategy beforehand to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Monumetric vs. Google Adsense
The main difference between Google Adsense and Monumetric is that Monumetric is a managed display ad network. This means they set up the display ads and advertising strategy for you.
Otherwise, Monumetric pays monthly and Google Adsense only pays when you meet their payment threshold.
With Google Adsense, I was paid each time my account reached $100. But with Monumetric, I am paid monthly even if my account balance is lower.
In terms of income, Monumetric seems to pay better. I earned as low as $2 per $1,000 page views with Google Adsense.
With Monumetric, my page view RPM is around $5.63 and it seems to be more consistent overall.
Overall, both platforms are a great way to monetize a blog.
But if you meet the minimum threshold, it’s worth making the switch to Monumetric because it’s more professional.

Monumetric Concluding Thoughts
Out of all the different ways to make money from blogging, I prefer display ads.
Frankly, I don’t want to sell products or perform services to make money. As a content creator, I just want to create content.
So, when it comes to building income streams through blogging, the opportunities I seek all require low involvement. Just like with dividend investing, I’m interested in passive income streams.
