TheMotability Scheme enables disabled people and those with limited mobility to gain access to Mobility Scheme mobility scooters and Motability powerchairs.
Using your government-funded mobility allowance, you can lease a new electric mobility scooter or powered wheelchair on Motability from Monarch Mobility every three years. See our full range of mobility scooters and powerchairs available on the Mobility scheme below.
Most scooters and powered wheelchairs cost less to lease per week than your mobility allowance, so the remainder of your allowance continues to be paid directly to you. If you want to lease mobility scooters, the cost includes what we call our Worry Free Package.

How it works.
Do you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement? If so you can you use part of this allowance to get a new powered wheelchair or mobility scooter available on PIP for as little as £15 per week.
