To craft and upgrade weapons in Tales of Arise, you will need to find either a blacksmith or merchant. Blacksmiths are found in inns spread throughout the Tales of Arise world. Merchants are located in camps found in the wild. Both of these NPCs will allow you to buy and sell items, but also forge weapons. Select “Forge Weapon”, and a list of available weapons will appear. This menu will show you the name of the weapon, how much Gald it costs to forge, and the materials you need. If you do not have enough materials to craft a weapon, the name will be greyed out. You can gather more materials by fighting zeugles. It will also show you the Attack, Element, and Penetration stats for the selected weapon.
As you progress through the story, you will unlock more weapons to forge. You can also switch to different characters in your party and craft weapons for them.
