During a February 2022 interview on The Late Late Show With James Corden, the host asked Gunna, "What is pushing P? When are we pushing P, am I pushing P?"
"You see how you've got your show set up, The Late Late Show?" the rapper responded. "And today, you're premiering Gunna... that's one of the best artists to come out... that's P, you're supporting a P, that's P."
Gunna also explained the real meaning behind the phrase in an Instagram live stream, where he said "You see a lady at the door, you hold the door for the lady bro, that's P.
