Is the Muramasa better than the Night's Edge? ›

Night's Edge has a base attack power of 42, while Muramasa has 18, meaning the Night's Edge is more then 2x as powerful.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Because it spins, the Night Beam effectively hits more enemies than the Light Beam. However, the Light Beam can be launched more often and moves at a faster speed. The True Excalibur has a 45.31% / 26.88% lower DPS as it may swing faster but has less damage than the True Night's Edge.

The Murasama is extremely powerful when fully upgraded and has superior reach to the HF Blade, making it the strongest weapon in the game in terms of raw damage, though the Fox Blade is more effective against armored enemies. It is also 10% faster to swing than the HF Blade and has boosted energy absorption.

The Zenith is considered one of the most powerful swords in Terraria and is the ultimate weapon in the game. It is crafted using a combination of various endgame materials, including the Meowmere, Star Wrath, and many others. The Zenith has high base damage and critical strike chance.

The True Night's Edge is a Hardmode sword that is a stronger version of the Night's Edge, doing more damage and firing a projectile when swung. It is one of the ingredients necessary to craft the Terra Blade. The True Night's Edge is capable of autoswing.

Trivia. A Reforged Night's Edge does more damage than the first few Hardmode Swords.

The cobalt sword and the palladium sword, which is made very early during hardmode, is as strong or stronger than the night's edge and also has auto swing. But if you are going melee all the way through hardmode, I do reccomend crafting it as it is an ingredient in crafting the Terra Blade.

You could also craft a Phase Saber which has almost the same power as a Nights edge, but its faster. It does have less knockback though, but its easy to craft. Your Night's Edge is Legendary though so I would just stick with that rather than go through the expense of reforging a Phase Saber over and over again.

Enchanted sword is definitely more than half the damage of Night's Edge and almost twice the swing speed. It is also an autoswing sword so you don't have to keep clicking every time.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Not only do Boss class enemies get immunity to Lava, so do Worm class enemies, which is what The Destroyer is a Boss version of. So even if The Destroyer wasn't immune due to being a boss, it is immune due to being a worm. For kill the Destroyer you can use some fireworks! They do a lot of damage!

Fetid Baghnakhs can destroy it in a matter of seconds, provided you have knockback immunity and enough attack speed to maximize its potential. Other swords can be useful but less powerful, as long as you have backup to support you against probes (such as minions or sentries).

Muramasa was the first weapon in the game to be the most powerful. That lasted until its damage and knockback were reduced and the ability to equip more than one pair of Feral Claws was removed, long before the 1.1 update when Hardmode was introduced.

The blade has easily cut through the armor of a S.H.I.V.A. robot on a molecular level and has also "sliced" one of Cyclops' optic beams into several different beams and reflected them in different directions. The sword is also capable of greatly reducing the efficiency of a superhumanly fast healing rate.
